Magnolia-licious Clean and Simple

Hi everyone,

Over at Magnolia-licious the challenge is Clean and Simple, I found this quite easy once I had settled on "London Tilda" stamped on cream X-Press It blending card using Copic markers.

I wanted to have 'rain' falling and found in my old sewing things a wheel that I must have used with marking chalk (my little grey cells have forgotten that) I ran it down the paper in not very straight lines, I went over some of the indentations with a Gelly Roll sparkle pen and added some 'rain' drops with Ranger White Opal Liquid Pearls.  I just had to have Ranger Star Dust Stickles on her boots and falling on the tips of her hair!  I added a Scrapmatts 'Smile" chip board to complete this little birthday card.

I have to say that as the card has little contrasts it was a bit tricky to take the best photo, so out in the garden I went for some natural light.

I hope you like my little effort, if you do please leave a little comment Id love to hear from you!

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:

Until next time, happy crafting..

  2. Oh my goodness, Sandy, I so love this card! I love the simplicity and the details - I know that sounds like opposites, but your details are so well thought out. I love the raindrops - all of them! Thank you so much for sharing your card with us and joining the CAS Challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog!
