My SVG HUT - Tea Pot set

Hi everyone,

Here is my latest 'make' its a Tea Pot set made by My SVG HUT Digital file.

I have used plain white American card stock for this and BoBunny Bliss stickable stencil in a doily pattern on the card with Versa Color Indigo ink after it was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo machine. I also cut it again in the blue (sorry don't have a colour name for this) for the inside of the teapot, cup, milk jug & sugar bowl.

It was fun to get really sticky with glue (Aleene's acid free Tacky Glue) to make this up which was surprisingly easy once you realise which piece went where and it helped that I had taken a photo of the original from My SVG HUT on etsy.com

I finished it last night but felt that it needed a tray for it all to sit on, so I enlarged the hexagonal base of the cup so that it was almost a 12' square, cut it out, marked the edge in 2" on every point, cut with scissors, used a large ball embossing stylus around the base of the cut marks (like I was making a flower) then glued one edge to the other all the way around for the dish shape. I felt it needed handles so I cut 4 Kaisercraft decorative Flourish die's and voila handles for my tray.
I have to say it was a challenge to make this, I was totally pleased with how it turned out!

I hope you are all having a good week, stay safe and happy crafting..

Feb 14 - Lots of Embellishments

Hi everyone,

Some exciting news - I am a Design Team member on Di's Digistamps yay!

For well over a year now every Monday I receive Di's newsletters with her lovely images, they are so cute and seem to fit a lot of different occasions - just on the spur of the moment I sent her an email to see if she was looking for DTs in the new year!
I am happy to say that I was accepted and here is my first Design Team card..

"Blossom teddy" is sitting prettily on a branch amongst the blossoms with a little bluebird friend.

Blossom Teddy is coloured with Copic Markers, I threaded ribbon through the holes in the Spellbinders Lacy Squares die and embossed the Pion "My Precious Daughter" DPs with Couture Creations 'Cultivated' embossing folder, Joy Crafts 6002/0251 Butterfly Die top & side, Spellbinders 'in-spire' Umbrella Trio, and Magnolia Doohickeys Scalloped Tag, Kaisercraft flowers, Martha Stewart leaf punch and lots of Ranger Stardust Stickles.

I hope to see you all again soon, take care and happy crafting..

Butterfly Birthday Card - My SVG HUT

Hi everyone,

Here is a little card I have made from SVG HUT this is a box greetings card that will fold flat to fit in an envelope, it has a Butterfly theme, which is very cute..

I've used Maja Design paper
"Vintage Frost Basics" 2nd of December & Pion Design "Shoreline Treasures" & CreaDiem Blomstra

to enhance the photo I chose of my lovely little grand daughters! The card is from them to their Daddy for his birthday this month.

The card was cut on my Silhouette Cameo, the Butterflies in american card stock which I dabbed with Versa colour 38 Skye Blue, 35 Lilac ink all touched with Wink of Stella "Clear" just for a little shimmer.

I hope that you like my little box card they are so easy to make and look very impressive.

Until next time, happy crafting,

Light House - My SVG HUT File

Hi everyone,

A quick post today to share a Light House I've made this weekend for my son-in-laws birthday from an SVG HUT file (decoration not included)..

I've used American Card stock, Homemade paste (by Gabrielle Pollacco
Kaiser craft template 'Bricks' and 'Rocks' clear stamp.

There is space on the 3 levels (a hole at the back) to take (Battery only) Tea Lights
to give it that special touch.

I'm quite pleased with how this has turned out and I am sure Dale will be impressed!

Until next time happy crafting..
