Welcome to Sandy's Crafty Creations and my first ever post (a wee bit scary).
I found to my amazement last week that the Magnolia Down Under DT were looking for 2 new members, it has been my wish to join a Magnolia Design Team from when I bought my first Magnolia INK magazine last year, like so many I just fell in love with Tilda.
I thought this was just the prompt I needed to make a Blog, so here we are with my first Creation,
"Princess Tilda with Carriage"
The inside is simple with blank space for a personal message or sentiment.
Supplies:
Stamps: Magnolia "Welcome to my Home" (Sweet Crazy Love) Magnolia Princess Tilda, Mini Tilda
Cardstock: Magnolia, Arches Watercolour
Dies: Magnolia Doohickeys, Spellbinders, Marianne Design, Martha Stewart
Gems: Magnolia Knick Knackery's Vintage Diamonds
Flowers: Kaisercraft Mini paper Blooms "Fairy Floss"
Other: Ranger "Star Dust" Stickles, Lace, Muslin, Sparkle net, Versa Color "Sky blue", silver jump rings
Colouring Tilda,
Tim Holtz Distress Marker's
Skin - Tattered rose, Victorian Velvet, Aged Mahogany
Hair - Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain
Apparel - Dusty Concord, Pumice Stone
My card features Princess Tilda from the Fairy Tale collection (she is just gorgeous) I coloured her with Tim Holtz Distress Markers (my first attempt with them) so pleased with my effort, she has Stickles on her tiara, gloves and petticoat.
I used the corner of "Welcome to my home" Magnolia stamp for the cloud effect on the spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Grand Labels 1 die.
The Carriage I made with Spellbinders "Standard Circles Large" for the body of the carriage, Spellbinders "Floral Flourishes" for it to sit on, with Spellbinders "Ornate Artisan Tags and Accents"
for the wheel supports.
I am entering this card in the following challenge
MDUC _ Anything Goes
Bye for now,
Sandy
I will be working on my new Blog in the coming weeks, so watch 'this space' for updates
