The Sports Injury Clinic in Frankston on the 24th April 2016

Hi everyone,

Sorry I am a little late with this card for Simply Magnolia the topic is Easter.

I have used "Mushroom with Snail" as well as two Mini Tilda's,

who look a little like Fairies playing in among the mushrooms and easter eggs!

They are coloured with Distress Inks,

LHOSM -Challenge 131 - Use some Flowers

Hi there,

Here at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia the challenge is "Use some Flowers",

now I'm sure this is not a problem for those of us who love to use these gorgeous little embellishments! lol

I have coloured Rose Garden Tilda with Distress Inks and I have to say I find them really lovely to use, to me its like I am designing a full scale painting even though Tilda isn't very big - every one is a masterpiece especially if you are like me and still getting used to using them!!! 

I think I am getting better with every one though!

Green, Pink or Gold

Hi everyone,

Here is a card for my granddaughter Hannah who will be 7yrs in April.

This magnolia stamp is the 1st one I ever bought 

"Butterfly Tilda" from Butterfly Wishes collection.

With Green wings for a change and a dash of Pink 

as that is Hannah's favourite colour lol.

I couldn't find a paper that would go with Tilda so got out my Distress Inks, a butterfly stamp 

&

white embossing powder.

I have to say I am really pleased with how this turned out. 

I printed out the word Hannah, cut it up and placed it on the bottom of the card, 

there is a Pink H & a 7 on the tag too.

Cards for Friends

Hi everyone,

Well, its officially Autumn here in sunny Melbourne - phew! 

Fingers crossed Mother Nature will catch on soon & give us some wonderful autumn days 

& not the heat of summer!

I've been busy making a few cards for a dear friend Davinia Wood who has now moved with hubby Phil to Geraldton in Western Australia right by the beach! 

From a place called Tom Price, the back of nowhere!

This card I made because Davinia said she would like a scooter to pop to the shops with 

(as yet I don't have Scooter Tilda) she's on order!

On the Road Tilda fitted the bill nicely and

"Cool" Edwin I thought would make a great Phil looking exasperated with Davinia riding her bike lol ..

I've used Kaisercraft Fairy wishes design papers. 

Magnolia stamps Tilda & Edwin both coloured with Distress Inks.

The largest of the Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Ovals for the card shape, I made slits in it to stand Edwin & Tilda against it & they fold down to close the card, I think it came out pretty well.

I can report that 

Davinia and Phil have now found & bought their first house in Geraldton - Yay!

For a New Home card I've used a favourite Magnolia stamp of mine

 "Welcome to a Lovely Home"

which is also coloured with Distress Inks, 

the papers are PION, 

Magnolia Doohickey Tag, 

the fence is LaLaLand, 

GoKreate & Spellbinders dies for the card shape.

Both cards have been received and were met with approval lol..

Its lovely to know that friends are happy & going to be well now they are down by the water, 

its the best place to be!

 I live near Port Phillip bay, which is 10 minutes away!
