Fancy fold Christmas Bird House

Hi and welcome to my blog.

When I saw the Garden Birdhouses stamp set I knew it would make a perfect Christmas card, my first one for this year.

The Layering Diorama dies were the perfect focal point for the centre aperture of the card and I love the bough from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set. using seaside spray and misty moonlight ink pads for just the right touch of blue I didn't want it to overwhelm the bird house image, I'm pretty pleased with it, I hope you like it too.

Cheers to You Box card

Hi, welcome to my blog.

For a change I thought I would make a box card,
this one I made myself and it measures 4 x 2.1/4 x 4.1/4

I wanted this to look a Bar with silver card stock 'Mirror' at the back.
Using Whiskey Business stamp set, basic black card stock, Cinnamon Cider card stock, Old World Paper embossing folder, Hammered Metal embossing folder (mirror)
and a gold coloured oil pastel (Sennelier not Stampin up) this was before I knew about New the Soft Pastel Assortment, which I have now.

I fussy cut all of the elements for this card and the ice cubes just make it I think.

thanks for joining me and I hope you like my little project.

Hacking Jacket card

Hi and welcome to my blog,

today I would like to share a male card using the Handsomely suited bundle, Gilded Autumn DSP, Whiskey Business for the sentiment and Snow Front (retired) stamp set for the background trees.

I wanted a different type of jacket style for the front of this card so I looked for a DSP that would give a Hounds tooth check and gilded autumn had just what I was looking for. I've used very vanilla card stock for the 7" x 4 1/4 card.

I also used Early Espresso card stock for the lapels and shoulder patch, for the polo jumper in very vanilla I made room neck and used Tasteful Texture embossing folder to give it some texture, I have to say I am really pleased with how this turned out.

Happy Birthday with a difference

Hi and welcome to my blog.

For this card I had an idea to use the ice cream cone builder punch for shapes, it turned out to be more like little trees rather than just shapes and it makes for a nice Male card too.
For the background I used Soft Succulent ink pad, Brushed Blooms bundle (retired) in one of my favourite card shapes.

Pansy Patch Z fold Greeting Card

Hi there, thanks for joining me today.

I love this new stamp set from Stampinup Pansy Patch.
I made a Z fold card this time using my A4 size One sheet Wonder page (I will show this later)
After die cutting the pansies in basic white, I used a dauber to add colour to the edges, I embossed the background too.
