70th Wedding Anniversary Card

Hello,

I was commissioned recently to make a very Special card for a 70th Wedding Anniversary in September!

I was given photos of the couple on their wedding day on the 13th September 1947 - how amazing is that..

I made a Z fold card with Foamiran flowers symbolising white Gardenia's & a Pink Orchid which was given to the bride by a close neighbour for her bouquet on the day!

a close up of the flowers on the front of the card,

inside with a lovely photo of the couple Joyce & Alex with the announcement from the newspaper of the day, behind this is a tag with a small photo of the couple,

inside the back folds I've put a photo of the couple on honeymoon with a tag for their daughter to write a poem,

I made a box for the card to be stored in with red flowers the bridesmaids hand in their bouquets (which turned out to be red Camellia's) on the lid, the bridesmaids wore green dresses in a similar colour to the ribbons on the box,

this photo show's a clear box I made to display the card!

I have to say this card was a labour of love for me, I was so pleased with how it turned out.

The lady who commissioned me to make it was so thrilled she had tears, I have to admit I did too!

so until next time, happy crafting, stay safe..

White Stardust Lantern

Hi everyone,

I hope that where ever you were for christmas you had a wonderful day, as I did with my family.

I'd like to share with you a lovely White Stardust Lantern that I've made at least 7 times for family and friends this Christmas, the template came from Sandra's Scrapsels it is a really lovely template and I have added my own slant on it.

The lantern template was cut twice from AC craft card on my Silhouette Cameo, I did this to give it a little more stability as I wanted to have lots of embellishing especially this time of the year, Christmas with lots of White except the Mini Tilda (Fairy Tale Collection) which I coloured Lilac with Copic markers.

I have used heaps of Puff White 3-D paint (Jones Tones) dusted with Snow white fine glitter dust (Ruby rock-it) I love watching the paint puff up its quite magical. I've used a La-La Land Christmas tree die dotted with white pearls, Joy Crafts Winter Wishes Snowflake die on the side with Ranger Stardust Stickles, Ma…

Book Page cards

Hello,
I recently watched a youtube video using old book pages!
I've torn pages out of a book I'd read but didn't like, so I wasn't feeling too bad about tearing it up to make a card lol!
I gessoed the pages, stuck them to a card front, once dry put some distressed inks here and there on it
dried it off with my heat tool and decorated it with bits and bobs.

this one has one of my Foamiran flowers on it

this blue one I used Kaisercraft mists to colour the flowers.
Until next time, happy crafting, stay safe..
