Aurora Wings - Star Dancer Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

I would like to share an Aurora Wings - Star Dancer card with you today, I made it for a friends birthday on the 30th April, hope she doesn't visit my blog before she gets the card...

I have used American Craft card stock cut with a Spellbinders Grand circles die for the shape of the card, the DP is Maja Design "Crea Diem" Blomstra which is very delicate and one of my favourites.
The Aurora wings image was printed onto X-Press-it Blending card and coloured with Copic markers, I have used a little Windsor & Newton watercolour on the background to highlight the dancer.
The swirls are Magnolia Doohickeys dies, the Roses were cut from card stock with a Cheery Lyn Design "Gardenia Strip" die (which I managed to get recently) I added colour to the roses with Versa Color "Baby Blue" ink, everything had a touch of this very lovely blue ink. The Eiffel Tower was cut with a Cottage Cutz die, the Butterflies are Spellbinders "Les Papillions Two" dies and lastly the tag on the inside of the card is Magnolia Doohickeys "So wrapped Swirly" die.

I have used the strip from the bottom part of a Maja Design DP "Vintage Spring Basics" to give the border of Guipure lace a little shape, it says "April" Enjoy the beauty of the Season which I thought was quite lovely even though in this part of the world it is Autumn!

Almost forgot and lots of Ranger Star Dust Stickles too!

I am quite pleased with this card and really must remember to 'list' the items I use on my cards then I don't have to get them all out again so that I can detail what I have used every time I put a new post on my blog LOL!

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenge:

White Stardust Lantern

Hi everyone,

I hope that where ever you were for christmas you had a wonderful day, as I did with my family.

I'd like to share with you a lovely White Stardust Lantern that I've made at least 7 times for family and friends this Christmas, the template came from Sandra's Scrapsels it is a really lovely template and I have added my own slant on it.

The lantern template was cut twice from AC craft card on my Silhouette Cameo, I did this to give it a little more stability as I wanted to have lots of embellishing especially this time of the year, Christmas with lots of White except the Mini Tilda (Fairy Tale Collection) which I coloured Lilac with Copic markers.

I have used heaps of Puff White 3-D paint (Jones Tones) dusted with Snow white fine glitter dust (Ruby rock-it) I love watching the paint puff up its quite magical. I've used a La-La Land Christmas tree die dotted with white pearls, Joy Crafts Winter Wishes Snowflake die on the side with Ranger Stardust Stickles, Ma…

Book Page cards

Hello,
I recently watched a youtube video using old book pages!
I've torn pages out of a book I'd read but didn't like, so I wasn't feeling too bad about tearing it up to make a card lol!
I gessoed the pages, stuck them to a card front, once dry put some distressed inks here and there on it
dried it off with my heat tool and decorated it with bits and bobs.

this one has one of my Foamiran flowers on it

this blue one I used Kaisercraft mists to colour the flowers.
Until next time, happy crafting, stay safe..

these were my first attempt at Foamiran flowers, I was soooo pleased with them!

 this is the latest card..

I only have basic tools, 2 stylus, a foam pad and watercolour crayons or oil pastels, hot glue gun, stamens, to make the flowers so I am pretty pleased with how my flowers turned out.
