2021 Christmas Card

Hi and welcome to my blog.

Here is a little card I made the other evening, as yet it doesn't have a sentiment, I was inspired by the dressmakers model in the 'Handmade for you' Stamp set for Stampinup Angel Policy.

I used polished pink for the card base 11" x 6"
scored in half at 5.1/2"
the mats are 5.3/8 x 5.7/8"

basic white card stock cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies the top mat was embossed with the Seabed embossing folder as was the smaller oblong one in polished pink for the front,

The dressmakers model was stamped in polished pink on basic white,
I used a flower from Hand Penned Petals for a 'skirt' coloured in polished pink on the model with leaves in soft succulent from the same set.

This card is a base for my first Christmas card for 2021

The measurements are the same for this card as above, using Soft Succulent card stock and Ink, along with Real Red ink.

I used one of the masks from the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks for the background of the card with a blending brush and soft succulent ink.
I've left the front panels in basic white, the smaller shape is embossed with the Tasteful Textures embossing folder, stamped the dressmakers model in soft succulent, the bough from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set and die cut holly leaves, the bow and mistletoe from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set and Christmas Trimmings dies.
The Merry Christmas sentiment stamped in Real Red ink and fussy cut from the evergreen elegance stamp set.

I think it is a really effective way of making a very interesting and different  Christmas card.
